Hazel McKay, 82, of Indianapolis, passed peacefully March 11th, 2009 at her home.Hazel was born in Oaklandon in September 1926, the daughter of the late Daniel and Hazel Huntley.She is survived by her husband of 48 years William McKay, son Eddie Hohn, daughter Terri Gilmore, son Rick (Shawn) McKay, grandson Dennis (Claudia) Haddix, and 2 great-granddaughters Kaylee and Aimee. sister-in-law Ethel Huntley, sister-in-law Jenny (Floyd) McKay, and brother-law Charles (Becky) McKay.Funeral Service will be Sunday March 15th at 3:45 at Oaklandon Christian Church, with visitation two hours prior to the service.She will be laid to rest at Oaklandon Cemetery.

I havent seen you for years Aunt Hazel but will always remember the fun I had on the numerous skiing trips you guys always included me in, the reunions and race parties we had always with a hearty poker game included. Also, your patented fudge. I will always love you and shall miss you and remember you fondly.

I will always remember how much fun the family reunions were at Aunt Hazel and Uncle Bills!! I have not seen them in such a long time but I think of them often!! Aunt Hazel was such a sweet woman!! She will truly be missed!! I LOVE YOU AUNT HAZEL!!!
